Integromat got themselves a rebranding: Make
Our automation partner, Integromat, has just announced its name change. Integromat has become Make. But how can we explain this new direction?
Make makes it possible to automate anything from tasks and workflows related to the most popular applications in internal company systems with just a few clicks. This Nocode platform is considered by many to be the " Glue of the Internet ". 🧲
This Zapier competitor stands out in particular for the very visual operation of its workflow. Indeed, creating an automation of tasks is an operation made quite playful by Make(the late Integromat).
Like a thunderclap, the announcement on 22 February 2022 resonates throughout the Nocode community. Why such a name change? We explain it all to you. 🕵️♀️
Integromat is dead, long live Make 👑
" A world where everyone has the power to innovate without limits.
This is the new philosophy of Make. The off button has been pressed, the old logo is gone and hello to the dominoes. It's easy to see what Integromat wants to get across. Each domino falling down causes a chain reaction, like the Make scenarios, which follow each other and lead to an automation of processes that interact with each other. 🂂 🀶
As for the name change, it refers both to the Makers, which is what Nocode developers are called. But also to the Do it Yourself trend, where everyone becomes a little Maker of their own automations and systems that they create via the software. 🪄
Not to mention that Make is a much shorter term than Integromat. It is a verb, so it induces an action and captures what users do on the platform.
According to Make itself, the name change reflects the transition from a rigid Integromat to a more modern and flexible Make, even in its name.
