Samir Bouhassoun on entrepreneurship and innovation

As part of the Nocode Série n°13 on November 16, Gyfti co-founder Samir Bouhassoun shared his entrepreneurial experience, highlighting the journey and challenges of creating an innovative company. This exchange offered unique insights into the use of Nocode in Gyfti's development, as well as advice for those wishing to embark on entrepreneurship.

Samir Bouhassoun's career

Samir Bouhassoun, co-founder of the Gyfti platform, has a diverse and international background. Born into an expatriate family, he lived in seven different countries before settling in France. After graduating from business school, specializing in finance, and working with successful entrepreneurs, he decided to launch his own business.

Entrepreneurship

His entrepreneurial adventure began without a concrete idea. With his two partners Paul and Marwane, also from business school, they embarked on a creative process to generate business ideas. They developed methods for stimulating creativity and finally retained three ideas, which they evaluated according to quantitative and subjective criteria.

Gyfti's Creation

Gyfti, designed to strengthen human ties in the professional world, emerged from an innovative idea that quickly evolved into an influential platform in its field.

Debuts and MVP

The first version of Gyfti was launched in December 2021. This initial version was a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), a crucial step in testing the idea on the market. This MVP was the result of intensive work, characterized by a pragmatic, efficiency-focused approach. The entrepreneur and his team focused on creating a functional platform that met the essential needs of their potential customers without too many superfluous complexities.

Innovation through subscription

In September 2022, Gyfti reached an important milestone with the launch of its subscription-based offering. This new phase introduced a bespoke dimension for customers, a significant evolution from their initial MVP. Samir emphasizes the importance of this transition, pointing out that it has enabled greater customization and adaptation to the specific needs of each customer. Automation played a key role in this step, facilitating smoother, more efficient processes.

The Nocode approach

What particularly sets Gyfti apart is its extensive use of Nocode tools. Gyfti's co-founder insists that the platform was developed 100% with Nocode technologies, a strategic decision that enabled a rapid and efficient time-to-market. This approach not only simplified technical development, but also enabled greater agility in product iteration. Samir sees innovation and Nocode as essential levers for modern entrepreneurs. They enable the agility and adaptability that are crucial in today's business environment.

Prestigious clientele

One year after the launch of their subscription-based offering, Gyfti has built up an impressive customer base. Samir expresses great pride in having attracted some very fine customers, underlining the platform's success and impact in the industry. This success is a testament not only to the quality of their offering, but also to their understanding of market needs.

Tips for future entrepreneurs

Samir shares 3 tips for people wanting to start their own business:

  • Share your idea: he stresses the importance of talking about your idea. This not only helps it to evolve, but also to benefit from other people's networks and feedback.
  • Personal preparation: It's crucial to prepare your personal and professional environment for the challenges of entrepreneurship.
  • Get fully involved: to maximize your chances of success, you need to be totally committed to your entrepreneurial project.
