Nocode, no-code or no code? How should it be written?
As Nocode explodes, with over 4.7 billion raised in 2021 worldwide, a debate rages in the community, how to spell "Nocode"?
Nocode, No code, no-code, nocode... what's the right spelling? At Alegria.group, we have opted for Nocode. Here's why 🤔
The values of Nocode
Nocode is not only a technology, it is also a philosophy. Nocode is easy to use, no need to install anything, as most of it is SaaS software. All you need is an internet connection and you're done. 🪄
And of course, for very basic use, most Nocode tools require no training. This means that the software is open to everyone, from 7 to 77 years old. It doesn't matter where you live, how powerful your computer is (there are even Nocode tools that work on a phone), or what your profession is, for personal or professional use... In short, you've understood, Nocode is universal and meets all our uses and needs. 👍
Furthermore, we strongly believe that Code and Nocode should not be pitted against each other. Some uses of Code are unavoidable and even traditional coders can find happiness in Nocode via use cases where there is a significant saving of time, energy and resources. 📈
For all these reasons, we decided to stick "No" and "Code" together to unite them under one entity. But also to keep the spirit of simplicity of Nocode with a minimalist and accessible spelling in one word.
As for the choice of the capital letter on the "No", we explain it by the fact that we do not want to diminish the importance of Nocode in our daily life, but also in the future promise of this technology. 🚀
Finally, let's not forget that without a code, there would be no Nocode, so there's no point in waging war between the different chapels. And even less on the spelling of a simple word. 😇
