In early June, the founders ofAdalo announced that they had raised $8 million. So it's the perfect time to do a special episode on the subject!
Launched in 2019, Adalo is an app.builder that allows you to create complex applications without having to code. Intuitive, the tool is easy to learn thanks to pre-built elements.
One of its advantages is that the mobile applications created are native, i.e. they can be published directly on Google Play and the App Store.
With the paid version, you can publish without the Adalo branding and with the domain name of your choice.
This Series A funding will allow the founders to accelerate the development of certain features:
- First announcement: developing web applications
They recalled that even if Adalo was originally created for mobile applications, they now want to develop web applications as well and that one of their objectives would therefore be to improve the platform's responsive design. - Second announcement: developing the marketplaceoffer
They also announced that they would develop their marketplace offer. Today, they offer an offer in which you can choose components but this year they want to complete it by offering components as well as templates, database integrations and ways to sell and monetise everything. - Third announcement: launch of the Adalo App Academy
Last but not least, they also announced the launch of the Adalo App Academy to help users make the most of the tool and its new features.
This is the focus on Adalo,
