Who is the Nocode Project Leader?

The name "Nocode Project Leader" is the result of an internal reflection conducted by theNocode agency Alegria.tech. We were looking for a term that would encompass the roles of Product Manager, Agile Coach and Scrum Master, as well as the notion of Nocode, which are an integral part of the job.

The Nocode Project Leader (NPL) has a strong sensitivity to digital and most often comes from the world of Tech or consulting; he or she is mostly trained in Nocode upstream even if this is not an absolute obligation. Their initial training may be in engineering, business or management. He has experience in project management and in-depth knowledge of Agile methodology and Design thinking. 🧠

Product managers, Agile coaches or digital project consultants are the profiles we are looking for to become Nocode Project Leader.

In terms of soft skills, the NPL has excellent interpersonal skills, but above all a capacity for synthesis and a strong ability to find solutions; he or she is structured and data-driven. The NPL also has a certain taste for challenge, a continuous desire to create and the desire to participate in high-stakes transformation projects.

What are its missions?

The Nocode Project Leader manages a portfolio of projects. He is in charge of teams composed of Makers (Nocode "developers"), UX/UI Designers and possibly Data Scientist. He is the main interface between clients and teams, and the guarantor of project quality, from the design phase to delivery. 🚀

The NPL leads the project based on the principles of Agile methodology.

In phase 1, its role is to understand the client's problems and find the ideal digital solution to solve them. This is a phase of framing the client's situation and challenging them on their business objectives (identifying their problems and specifying their needs). This phase is based on a methodology borrowed from Design Thinking.

Then comes the selection of the project team, which he coaches and manages, again using an agile approach. After the design phase, comes the production phase, which is based on a perfectly articulated roadmap and, above all, continuous client/team communication throughout the project.

Finally, it is the delivery of the product to the customer, where the NPL ensures the guarantee of deadlines and customer satisfaction.

Today, he can be found exclusively at Alegria.tech on permanent contracts. With the ongoing democratisation of Nocode, the NPL is a profession in full emancipation; in the long term, the profession of Nocode Project Leader will become more widespread among SMEs and large accounts.

In large companies, the NPL is likely to be integrated as a digital project consultant, or to work at the heart of an innovation unit based on the creation of solutions in Nocode. Companies that are already using Nocode tools can add an NPL to their teams in order to effectively manage projects across the board. In the future, the NPL can evolve as Head of Nocode Project Leader.

Hierarchically, the NPL reports directly to the COO, or Head of Nocode Project Leader who oversees the overall operation of the projects and their progress.

What tools does he work with?

With his analytical mind and thinking outside the box, the NPL works with many Nocode tools, including Airtable, which will undoubtedly become his favourite tool.

Airtable will allow him to build the clients' project tracker. At the time of the visios, Google meet or any other online meeting tool will allow him to keep in touch with his teams of Makers during Daily meetings, orinteraction planning meetings to exchange with the client the progress of the project. 💻

In parallel, the Miro tool allows the NPL to manage the visual specifications of the solution's interface.
