Lucie Gomes is a 36-year-old former PHP developer and QA tester who has always been part of the IT world. After a year's work-study with Alegria.academy, she became a professional Maker Bubble at Alegria.tech.
During the first part of her career as a PHP developer, Lucie wasn't fulfilled: "I realized that, unfortunately, coding wasn't for me!" She then became a QA tester, a job she found too editorial and redundant. As time went by, Lucie felt the need to find a job that combined passion and digital technology.
During the Covid, her company suffered budget cuts and Lucie found herself unemployed. "Even before this period, I was already thinking about my professional reconversion... I was ready to do anything to change my life!" And that's just what she did, so Lucie took the risk of changing jobs to find happiness. "What I liked and what I wanted to do was create websites. I was looking for a training course on Pôle Emploi and came across the one at Alegria.academy. I'd never heard of Nocode before, so I was curious and gave Bubble a try. I fell in love with it and applied immediately!
She couldn't have chosen a better company for her work-study placement: Alegria.tech!
After this year of professionalization and challenges, she became a Professional Bubble Maker at Alegria.tech thanks to her motivation and acquired skills!
"What I'm most proud of is the project I did as part of a team during my work-study program!" It involved the design of a customized gantt, which turned out to be complex, requiring a meticulous redesign. Together with her team, consisting of Rabil and Julian, she worked hard to put the project together.
Objective : Obtain a gantt based on a complex data set. The aim was to visualize which task was assigned to which person in a company, and over what duration.
Despite some performance problems at the end of the project, these were successfully resolved! By the end of July, they had already finalized everything.
This project, marked by in-depth thinking and sharp logic, remains a highlight in Lucie's professional career.
Lucie is working on a second project that makes her particularly proud. That of a marketplace for second-hand and new eco-designed furniture, called Bluedigo, thanks to which companies will now be able to order furniture without going through sales reps.
This project, which is currently being finalized, is already admitting to a wild success, published on France 2, and already arousing the curiosity of viewers! 👉 Watchthe report 🎥
"I advise everyone to lean on the Nocode community, which I find quite benevolent. When I say community, I mean it in its broadest sense, via groups such as the Nocode France community, the Bubble community, and theAlegria. network community!"
For those entering this world, Lucie recommends assiduously following the tutorials available online, particularly those on Bubble, highlighting the wealth of resources already out there. "There's an abundance of very instructive content on YouTube, which is of very good quality!"
Even if self-taught learning often works, she also advises taking part in training courses, such as those offered by Alegria.academy, because self-taught learning is still very complicated.
"I can still see myself at Alegria.group, leading projects that are each more stimulating than the last."
What she wants is to evolve as much in her skills as in her position, being involved not only in development, but also in the design and framing of projects. "The most important thing is to become better while staying in this field!"
